FlowRider Services Manager

Zak was born in Mission Viejo, but mostly grew up in Truckee, CA. He moved to San Diego for college and immediately became addicted to the ocean and surfing. The first job he got was at Wave House San Diego lifeguarding on the FlowBarrel, and when the Siemens FLOW Tour happened in 2001, he was one of the chosen ones to help manage it. Stops included Vienna, Sydney and other amazing locations. After a few tour stops, Zak then proceeded to build waves for us around the globe. His 19+ years of experience makes him a perfect fit for the After Sales role at FlowRider. In his free time, he’s surfing, biking, playing ice hockey or chasing his two young boys around the beach with his amazing wife, Amy.
