Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas® is the Largest Cruise Ship at Sea

This sleek vessel not only totes the bragging rights of being the largest cruise ship floating around (1,187 feet), but can also brag about having TWO FlowRider® sheet wave attractions aboard!  Royal Caribbean really packed a lot of action and adventure on this fleet member.  Anyone that eventually cruises on Harmony of the Seas, whose maiden voyage is in 11 days, will undoubtedly find an activity (or 10) to keep them happy!

“The FlowRider is honestly one of the highlights of my cruise and where I spend almost all of my time when it’s open.  So much so that we will only book cruises on ships that have them…,” says Wayne Gross, Jr., Royal Caribbean Cruise Enthusiast.

Gross is among thousands of people that feel the same way.  FlowRiders are featured on 11 other Royal Caribbean ships and are available for private sessions on every cruise.  In fact the demand for these private sessions is so high, guests are advised to use Royal Caribbean’s online Cruise Planner to make a reservation well before they embark.

Aside from the two FlowRiders on Harmony of the Seas, there is a giant waterslide, a 43-foot climbing wall, an 82-foot zip line that sits nine decks high and an ice skating rink!  Guest can recharge at 20+ different dining establishments.  Royal Caribbean also teamed up with DreamWorks (Kung Fu Panda characters, Shrek, etc…) to provide a DreamWorks Experience for their guests (e.g. Character breakfast and Meet and Greet sessions).  There are nearly 2,400 crew members, a full service Vitality ℠ Spa, a state-of-the-art fitness center with scheduled group exercise classes, 4 distinct pool areas (one of which is adults-only) and even an outdoor garden area that Royal Caribbean calls Central Park ®!  Shoppers are able to peruse the Royal Promenade and musical-goers are also catered to with a full cast on board to entertain by performing Broadway’s hit, Grease!  Having all of these activities and amenities on one beautiful ship is a cruiser’s dream!

Admittedly we are biased and think that flowboarding on the FlowRider is the coolest activity aboard Royal Caribbean’s ships.  We plan on testing that theory on Harmony soon and hopefully you too can test it out soon.  Regardless though, we are honored and delighted to share the thrill of surfing with people all over the world – on land or at sea!
