While we were Away!
Effective Feb 2014, FlowRider.com is on the air! Who are we and what do we do?
Whitewater West Industries (WWI), the global leader in waterpark and amusement attractions, has acquired the IP and trademarks from Wave Loch (La Jolla, CA) for the FlowRider family of sheet waves. So what are we going to do with FlowRider?
First we created a company located in San Diego to support the most successful sheet wave, artificial surfing experience on the planet. The name? FlowRider Inc of course! Then, we set about to create a killer website – flowrider.com – to support the brand. Then, we hired many of the former employees that had been driving the FlowRider brand– a group committed to the extreme satisfaction of every touch point of our business, who live for opportunity to ride a board of any shape and size, on an ocean, lake, street, mountain and of course, the FlowRider!!
We also went through the effort to create an e-retail site designed to take care of all of the end users that need their own stick to ride, and the gear to go with it. This growing community of flowboarding enthusiasts is going to want their own website, so stay tuned for the launch of flowboarders.com in the summertime. It will be focused on those that ride for fun and for sport, and will become the go to spot for new trends in riding.
We have also been working on many new product variation and design improvements, and we have been incredibly busy installing and commissioning waves to rave reviews. What kind of waves? FlowRider’s of course!! In the last six months, this would include:
