New Name, New Ride, MORE FUN!

Making waves in the desserts of Palm Springs. California

Wet ‘N’ Wild in Palm Springs, California is one of the latest waterparks to add the FlowRider® surf machine to their venue.  “The FlowRider is the only thing like it in the valley, who else has surfing in the desert?” Wet ‘N’ Wild general manager David Andrews said.

The FlowRider is the first addition to the park in over 8 years. The high thrilled attraction provides a WOW experience that allows the park guest to ride the perfect wave all summer long! The wave machine is free with the price of admission and you can get an annual pass for $59.99, which offers an unlimited number of visits. “It’s a great attraction! You can put your skills to use during the week before you drive out to the beach on the weekend. Or maybe you never go to the beach just keep riding the wave here and continuously get better,” Andrews said.

Pro Flowboard Sean Silveira and Sport Marketing and FlowRider Specialist, Adam Muller, were invited to their media day and VIP Grand Opening party to put on a FlowRider Demonstration and Show for the corporate partners, venue staff, friends and family!

“It’s great to see more and more venues installing the FlowRider sheet wave attraction as it provides everyone with a chance to experience the thrill of surfing, just about anywhere you go, even the “desert” Muller mentioned.

With over 180 successful installations around the world, Wet ‘N’ Wild Palm Springs is home to a FlowRider Single and is set to open to the public over Memorial Day weekend.

“This is a fun wave, an awesome venue, and has a great staff!  I am always excited to come out to a new venue, ride the wave and experience everything the venue has to offer”explained Silveira.
