Flow House Firsts at Boca Raton Resort

The firsts keep piling on, as the first Flow House in Florida was commissioned over the Thanksgiving Weekend at the Boca Raton Resort and Club.  First FlowRider® and Flow House in a Waldorf Astoria Property.  First FlowRider in a Hotel Resort in the southeast.  First FlowRider Wave-in-a-Box in “FlowRida.”  The list goes on as the never ending wave of fun continues to march its way across the country.  FlowRider continues to meet the demands of the customers in many ways, and provides the ultimate in artificial surfing experiences as the never ending wave of fun is ready for your immediate attention…….

The opening event attracted stars of all shapes and sizes, and for the grand opening of the FlowRider at The Boca Raton Resort and Club, the bookings included Melissa Etheridge, Kendall Schmidt from Big Time Rush, and Smash Mouth!  The weekend didn’t stop there! There were VIP autograph signings, pictures, concerts, and more!  Even Superman – er, Adam Sandler – was seen floating around the venue.  On hand to coach the stars, and/or their children, was 3X Women’s World Champion, Xana Nash, and she had the opportunity to coach Superman’s two daughters on the nuances of the flow.

In all, it was another EPIC moment to collaborate with a customer, to make their dreams of the never ending wave machine come true.  Keep your ears open and your eyes peeled for more fantastic moments from the grand opening on www.flowrider.com .  Many thanx to Rick Hayduk and the entire Boca team, and for the hard work of all of the FlowRider technicians.  Book your hotel room in Boca and “Go with the Flow!”

The Boca Raton Resort & Club, which opened February 6, 1926 as the Ritz-Carlton Cloister Inn, is a large resort and membership-based club located in Boca RatonFlorida. Originally designed by California-born architectAddison Mizner, it was intended to have been the second of two hotels, with the other an oceanfront hotel. However, the Ritz-Carlton Investment Corporation became involved in the project, and wanted the oceanfront hotel redesigned, so construction began on the then smaller 100 room inn on the west side of Lake Boca Raton.  Currently, the club is part of Waldorf Astoria Hotels and Resorts by the Hilton Hotels Corporation, an affiliate of the Blackstone Group.
