Born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii, Jake was happily “forced” to lead an outdoor-living lifestyle. He ended up studying Sports Management in Colorado. In 2011 he moved to San Diego and got a job at the Wave House San Diego in Mission Beach. There he wore many hats – retail, events, customer services, hiring, training, wave operations and maintenance. He is no stranger to the FlowRider crew or the product itself! He fills his spare time with snowboarding & surfing adventures, rounds of golf, soccer, and hanging out with his super fun wife Jessica.
