2014 FLOW Tour make waves across the continent

FLOW Tour 2014 is in the books! It was a great year in the middle of a huge transition phase for FlowRider Inc. as the sport and attraction is now under the umbrella of WhiteWater West Industries, the largest waterpark design and supply company in the world. FLOW Tour couldn’t have done it without the support from the venues, sponsors and their hard working staff members, who year after year assist in putting on a great showing of events and offer up outstanding hospitality to tour officials, competing flowboarders, and spectators from across world.

 The 2014 North American FLOW Tour kicked off with a bang and never looked back as it recently wrapped up its eleven event season.  The Tour made stops in Texas, New Jersey, Florida, Utah, California and across the Canadian border, featuring the top flowboarders on the continent, going head to head for prizes, cash and overall tour standings.

“It was an exciting year, with known competitors like Chuck Wright and Nick Sanchez claiming top honors in the Pro Divisions accompanied by Xana Nash defending her women’s title” mentioned FLOW Events & Sport Coordinator, Adam Muller. Those three individuals qualified for the World Flowboarding Championships and will represent team USA later this year.

It was Muller’s first year as acting Tour Coordinator and has bright visions of the future for the sport of flowboarding, as does FlowRider Inc. and WhiteWater West Industries.

Flowboarding is still an embryonic sport and with the support from FlowRider venues, riders and enthusiasts, it is continuing to grow creating a large following for the FLOW Tour for years to come!
