It’s official – Aquaworld®, one of Mexico’s most popular and well-established tour companies, just became 1000% more cool! Since 1986 Aquaworld has been introducing travelers from all over the world the water-filled wonders of the Cancún coastline.
And now – drum roll, please – they have a brand new FlowRider® Double surf simulating machine!!
The team over here at FlowRider, Inc. is very proud to add another wave and incredibly cool client to list. The folks at Aquaworld offer thrilling boat rides, scuba and snorkel tours, exhilarating FlyBoard® sessions, dolphin experiences, guided township excursions, fishing trips and now there is an endless FlowRider Double wave for guests to ride! Just last week Aquaworld’s staff was trained by FlowRider, Inc. professionals not only how to operate the machine, but how to teach people how to ride. The sport of flowboarding has yet another place to breed young, new flowboarders – year round to boot!
When the FlowRider Double has the inflatable divider in place, two patrons can bodyboard or stand-up ride simultaneously. Aquaworld’s wave is bound to be packed (and necessitate the inflatable divider) since their wave is situated smack dab in the middle of Cancún Hotel Zone (a.k.a. Zona de Hotelera de Cancún). The amount of visitors to this area each year usually reaches upwards of 4.5 to 5 million people (http://mexiconewsdaily.com/)! That’s like if the entire population of Oregon packed up and visited Cancún every year. Whoa!
With an adjacent bar and restaurant, families can essentially spend all day at the FlowRider. It’s entertaining for all members of the family, whether they actually ride or not. If someone does want to experience the thrill of surfing on the FlowRider, they can just as long as they meet the minimum height requirements. And don’t think the FlowRider at Aquaworld will only be flowing during daylight hours. Then nighttime activities will be on the rise at Aquaworld with the new FlowRider on their property. Expect live music, food & drink specials, professional flowboarding exhibitions and more to fill up their events calendar.
