Flow House Wildwood is attached to SplashZone Waterpark , in Wildwood NJ, and it is a hot spot to cool off when the summer heat strikes. During the day, park guests can enjoy slides and experience the thrill of riding a wave; at night, after the sun sets, Flow House draws in a crowd off the boardwalk, offering up cold beverages, great food, and live music while being entertained by the local riders on the wave.

As competitors travel across the country from wave to wave, collecting Tour points, prizes and cash money, event number six, hosted by FLOW House Wildwood was one of the larger turnouts of the season thus far.

With a rapidly growing rider base that continues to progress their skills and push the FLOW Movement forward, the venue truly becomes a sporting arena on competition weekend. “Each year the FLOW Tour returns to Wildwood, competitors mark their calendars, request time off work, and make their travel plans early because they know it will be one of the best contests of the season” explained Adam Muller, Tour Coordinator.

The event attracted over seventy competitors, filling slots in every category from Youth to Pros, and who assembled at FLOW House to battle it out on the FlowRider® Double surf simulator and showcase their skills to the judges, friends and families.

“It’s exciting to have the best riders in the country on our wave, it also provides a great opportunity for our local riders to compete against competitors from outside the state” described FH Wildwood Wave Manager, Tyler Hentges.

Brad Spencer (Utah), 2012 World Flowboarding Champion (WFC)proppr, was victorious in the Pro Flowboard Division. With a first place finish over Theo Koby (Florida) in the Finals, Spencer locks up the point race and will be the 2015 FLOW Tour Pro Flowboard Champion. “I’m really stoked, excited to represent Team USA at the 2015 World Championships!” said Spencer. Spencer will earn a slot into the WFC event and an expense paid trip to the contest destination.

In the Pro Bodyboard Division, multi time World and National Champion, Nick Nguyen (Texas), earned himself 1,000 points by defeating current defending Tour Champion and 2015 season leader, Nick Sanchez, in the Finals. With a win for Nguyen, this opens up doors in the Pro Bodyboard Division and the Title is up for grabs!

“It’s going to be an exciting end to the season, everyone is going to have to throw down from here on out if they want to be the Tour Champ!” Nguyen mentioned.

The 2015 FLOW Tour will wrap up with the final three events in Utah. Lindon Aquatics Center, Provo Beach and FlowRider Utah, all of whom have been involved with the FLOW Tour for many seasons, will be the final destination of the season.

Championship week will kick off August 5th at Lindon Aquatics Center.  Provo Beach and FlowRider Utah will follow on the 6th and 8th.  At the final event, hosted by FlowRider Utah at the Solomon Center in Ogden, Utah, the prize purse will be doubled and competitors will claim their season titles at the contest after party.
