Flow Tour 2026 – Stop #4 | Ogden, Utah

Nineteen years down and already looking ahead to year 20!
The Utah stop has always been a fan favorite, and for good reason. Nestled against the beautiful Wasatch Mountains in Ogden, the venue offers an incredible backdrop, easy access with the airport nearby, and plenty of great local restaurants—many of which were buzzing with fans watching the World Cup throughout the weekend.
The true highlight, however, is the legendary Triple FlowRider. Traditionally, Utah has been known for its incredibly strong local talent, producing multiple World Champions in both the men’s and women’s divisions. While the local riders once again put on an incredible show, what stood out this year was the number of athletes who traveled from across the globe to compete.
We welcomed two outstanding riders from China, both of whom reached the podium, including one earning a gold medal. We also had competitors make the trip from our neighbors to the north, traveling all the way from Quebec, Canada. Seeing international riders become a regular part of every Flow Tour stop has been one of the most exciting developments of the season.
With more than 60 competitors, the momentum behind the Utah stop continues to grow each year. As we prepare to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Rocky Mountain Classic in 2027, it’s exciting to see this event stronger than ever.
While there were countless highlights throughout the weekend, none of this would be possible without the incredible support of Shaun Hancock. Shaun has been a cornerstone of the Utah FlowRider community and a believer in the Flow Tour since day one. His passion and dedication continue to make this event one of the best stops on the schedule.
I always say that family is what makes the Flow Tour so special, and this event will always hold a special place in my heart. Both of my parents made the trip from California to support the community and the tour. As expected, they quickly made friends with riders from around the country, but the moment I’ll remember most was my dad competing in the Masters Bodyboard division at 79 years old. The last time he rode a FlowRider was back in 2010 at Wave House San Diego, and seeing him back on the wave was something I’ll never forget.
Utah continues to be one of the most special stops on the Flow Tour, and I can’t wait to celebrate the 20th Rocky Mountain Classic next year.
