FlowRider AGM
The entire global installation team for FlowRider, and many of our valued Project Managers, invaded our humble little property for our Annual General Meeting (AGM). As the folks from Canada attempted to get away from the rain, they brought a bit of it with them to our drought ridden community!!
The meeting schedule was fast and furious with discussion on installation techniques, procedures and lessons learned, and Alex Schrott, the Manager of Installation Services attempted to keep day one on a tight timeline. Since many of us are Oregon Ducks fans, and the NCAA National Championship game was on, we vacated the premises promptly at the end of the day and invaded Bay Park Fish Market and their private room with the Big Screen!! While the seafood and libations flowed, the Ducks were foul, and it was off to day two.
Day two brought many of the installation crew up to speed on process and procedure within WhiteWater West Industries, our northern mothership and the larget design and build company of waterpark equipment in the world. It was a great experience to see the many installation supervisors in the same room at the same time, sharing experiences, for the first time ever!!
As the AGM came to a close, the entire crew invaded Wave House San Diego for some ride time on the FlowRider® Single and FlowBarrel® Ten!! What a great wave to wrap up the festivities, as FlowRider not only employees the best wave installation crew on the planet, but also employ the very best riders in the world. Combine that with the incredibly seasoned Project Services team, and you have a winning combination. Wouldn’t you rather trust your next sheet wave installation to the crew at FlowRider and Whitewater? With 25+ installations in 2014 and 182 worldwide, there are plenty that do!
