Josh Ornelaz

Born in Ventura, CA, Josh was raised with the ocean as his playground. This led him to getting his first job as an Ocean lifeguard at Point Mugu to surf a “secret wave.” He then moved to San Diego to pursue a degree in Economics at SDSU. That is when he first encountered Wave House San Diego and the perfect 10-foot barrel. It was love at first sight! After working at Wave House, he jumped on the FlowRider team in 2012 to travel with the Mobile FlowRider. After countless projects in over 30 countries, Josh is just a phone call away to talk any and everything FlowRider. In his free time, he loves jumping on a plane chasing the warm water waves of Bali or backpacking through Alaska. Most of all, Josh loves taking test runs on FlowRider’s in Waterparks, Cruise ships, Hotels, or maybe even a backyard.
