Principal Engineer

Hailing from the Pacific Northwest, Steven grew up with a passion for snowboarding and kept himself busy working for his family’s construction company. After graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering from Washington State University, Steven went on to work on a broad spectrum of large to small scale design projects related to industrial nuclear, genetic sequencing, and healthcare diagnostics. In 2017 he decided to chase the good weather all the way down to San Diego to begin his journey with FlowRider. Whether it’s the beach or the mountains, you can be sure to find Steven enjoying his free time outdoors snowboarding, surfing and cruising around the beach with his awesome wife Emily.
