Team USA ‘Flows’ for Gold at the FlowRider World Championships in Bangkok, Thailand

Every year competitors compete in FLOW (Flowboarding League Of the World) Tour competitions all over the globe for the opportunity to become a National Champion and represent their country at the highest level of the sport.

The FLOW Tour is the sports premiere competitive tour. Tours are held in the US, Asia and Europe. Each season, a male flowboarder, a female flowboarder, and a bodyboarder from the Pro Divisions earn a plane ticket and seeded slot into the event.

Looking to defend the FlowRider World Flowboarding Championships (WFC) for 5 consecutive years, Team USA will be represented by Brad Spencer, Nick Sanchez and Dee Spencer this November in Thailand, as Flow House Bangkok will play host to the best flowboarders on the planet November 14-15.

Brad Spencer (Utah), 2012 WFC Champion and North America’s 2015 Men’s Pro Flowboard Champion, won the North American FLOW tour by winning an amazing 8 of 10 competitions.

“Brad showed consistency at a high level of riding all season long – it was really a pleasure to watch,” mentioned Adam Muller, FLOW Tour’s Coordinator.

Representing the Women’s Flowboard division will be none other than Dee Spencer (Brad’s wife).

“Dee worked hard in the off season and has taken the female division to the next level!” mentioned Muller. Dee is performing very difficult maneuvers, tricks we have become accustomed to only seeing in the Men’s divisions.

Last but not least, completing the trio of teammates for the USA is Nick Sanchez (Florida). Sanchez is the youngest member of the team and back to back North American FLOW Tour Champion in the Pro Bodyboard division.

“Nick has turned into a tremendous competitor and is at the top of his game!” stated Muller. Sanchez rose to the top ranks, beating known names such as Nick Nguyen (6x World Champion) and Daniel Tarapchak (2012 World Champ) with fast paced and high level combination tricks.

“You better not blink because you will miss a lot in a split second when this kid is ridding,” added Muller.
