New Wave Alert: The City of Little Elm, Texas

There’s now 15 FlowRider® waves in the Lone Star State (Texas). Yes, you read that correctly!

Two FlowRider Doubles have been installed within the last year, with one at Kalahari Round Rock Resort and the newest being for the City of Little Elm at their new municipal facility called The Cove at the Lakefront. Little Elm, Texas is an extended suburb of the Dallas-Fort Worth Area and is one of fastest growing municipalities in Texas since 2000. The city broke ground on The Cove in 2019 and recently opened the 42,000 sq. ft. facility to public after our ride commissioning process was completed in conjunction with our USA Licensee, Aquatic Development Group. Our team member, Rob Chalfant, Materials & Ops Manager and Lead Staff Trainer, traveled there last week to conduct staff trainings. The Cove’s Aquatics Manager and staff are absolutely stoked and ready to serve up some fun sessions on the FlowRider to their patrons!

At their brand new aquapark facility, they decided to include a FlowRider Double, along with slides, pools, a splash pad, cabanas, and more! The Cove also has a fully retractable roof that will keep guests comfortable no matter the time of year or weather. One of the coolest parts about this wave is the giant TV screens that are hung behind the ride. Whether the big game is on or instant replays will be playing, the entertainment potential is at an all-time high! Be sure to check out The Cove at the Lakefront on Facebook, and find other waves in Texas (and beyond) here!
