Newest FlowRider® Debuts at Wet and Wild, Palm Spring CA!
The latest venue to join the FlowRider® family of surf machines, is West-n-Wild Water Park located on Gene Autry Trail in Palm Springs, CA. The “singing cowboy” (Gene Autry) would have loved to be able to surf this FlowRider in his day, and if our awesome wave machines would have existed in his prime, he may have been known as the “singing surfing cowboy!”
Wet-n-Wild Water Park is in a prime, warm weather local, and is a waterpark for everyone to enjoy. With beautiful views of mountains and golf courses, the FlowRider is strategically located to take advantage of food, beverage and great viewing of the attraction.
The waterpark manager Andrew Harvey said “it’s a great addition to the park! The FlowRider can be enjoyed by both riders and spectators.”
This reinforces the argument for passive capacity vs throughput on an attraction. Just place food and beverage next to your attraction and watch the ROI dramatically improve! With an opening date of May 15th, the Palm Springs area will finally have an adrenaline fueled attraction in the FlowRider.
